BIO OF BOB NEUFELD

Narrator of the Audiobooks of Tempesta's Dream and A Song for Bellafortuna

Bob Neufeld began narrating books five years ago as a hobby and adjunct to his career in human resources.  His current list includes 35 solo recordings of fiction and non-fiction titles as well as numerous plays and providing the narration in dramatic readings of major novels.  The authors range from Dickens, Conan Doyle and Twain to Plato, Emerson and Machiavelli.  (For opera lovers, there is The Perfect Wagnerite by G. B. Shaw).  All are in the public domain and available for download free of charge at librivox.org or archive.org.   Total downloads recently hit 1.3 million.

With Vincent B. Chip LoCoco’s wonderful book, Tempesta’s Dream, Bob has turned pro. (Thank you, Chip!!) It’s a remarkably fitting book for Bob since he studied voice and opera in college (those Italian diction classes finally paid off) before moving to New York City and the real world.  (Hence the career in HR.)

Bob has recently moved back to his home town of Wichita, Kansas.
